LOCATION? Atwood, Illinois is located on Highway 36, ten miles West of Tuscola and I-57. From Highway 36, turn North to Downtown. At Forest Avenue, turn Left (West) one block, then turn Right (North) on Illinois Street. The Church is located at 231 N. Illinois.
PARKING? We have convenient and safe parking available at the East front of the church (including 2 places reserved for 1st time visitors); the North side; and, behind the church on the West.
TIMES? Sunday School and LIFE Groups begin at 9am; Morning Worship is at 10am; Youth Group meets on Sundays at 5:00pm. “Ignite!” Ministry for Children ages 5 through High School meets on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8pm from September through April.
DRESS? Most of the people who attend on Sunday Mornings will be dressed in a way that is usually called, “Business Casual.” Several will dress more casually than that. You’ll see a few “Sunday Dresses” and some “Coats and Ties” – but not very many.
CHILDREN? We have a safe, beautifully decorated and furnished nursery staffed at every service by faithful and long-time members of our church. Our nursery accommodates newborns to three year olds, and we have a “Parent Call” electronic notification system for your convenience.
Children age 4 to 2nd Grade may go (with your permission) to our “Children’s Church” (led by competent members of our Church) where they will pray, sing, hear Bible Stories, and be involved in crafts related to the lesson!
